UIQ OPEN 2008 WINNER
 

Gabor Fetter, from Agil Eight, won UIQ Open 2008 application competition in the Entertainment category with his game "MicroPool".

MicroPool for UIQ 3 is a simple but fun mobile phone pool game. Photo-realistic graphics, sounds and easy-to-use user interface guarantee many hours of fun in your leisure hours. It offers US-8, 9-Ball, Killer and Speed game types and the possibility to play against your phone or a connected friend.

"I have years of experience in Symbian OS development, but I was new to UIQ", says Gabor Fetter. "I was surprised how fast and smoothly porting from S60 to UIQ went. There was lots of useful material on UIQ Developer Community portal", he praises.

MicroPool is also available for S60 and Windows Mobile platforms (link).
