Capricode accelerates client delivery for smartphones - a new client factory in Hungary enables speedy delivery of SyncShield® Advanced Device Management to upcoming smartphones

Capricode, one of the world's leading companies in Advanced Mobile Device Management, has today announced the world's first client, which supports OMA Device Management 1.2 standard. In order to respond to rapid changes in the device market and to provide speedy releases of new clients, Capricode has established a client factory in Budapest, Hungary. The client factory is a result of cooperation with Agil Eight.

The client is for Symbian 9.0 S60 3rd edition mobile phones and is the newest version of Capricode's SyncShield®, an advanced mobile device management solution managing settings, applications and security on mobile devices. It enables the management of the devices centrally and silently Over-The-Air (OTA), enhancing both the security and flexibility of mobile device deployments.

“The capability to deliver clients to the newest mobile device and platform versions before they even enter consumer markets is a significant competitive advantage. A key SyncShield's advantage is the agile delivery of clients for multiple mobile device platforms, such as Symbian, UIQ, WindowsCE and Linux. Capricode can offer a client for new devices and device platforms in a just few weeks” says CEO Jyri Pyrrö from Agil Eight. “The new client factory will accelerate Capricode's agility even more” he continues.  “We have found exceptional technical expertise and specialists in Budapest and this combined with its central location in relation to European markets this made it a great location for the client factory” Pyrrö noted.
